The Salvini Cichlid, also known as the Tricolor Cichlid, hails from Southern Mexico. This fish , with it's sleek design and fantastic coloration, conjures up images of a a sleek sports car with the handling to go with it.  A diet consisting of other small fish and invertebrates', it's best suited to aquariums with similar sized inhabitants. Territorial, they can be a bit aggressive in protecting what they consider to be "their" space. Also known as the Tabasco Cichlid or Red Belly Cichlid this is a truly stunning addition to the aquatic hobby.
