Danios are native to regions of South and Southeast Asia. There are 2 schools of thought regarding the origins of the L/F Leopard Danio. some are convinced it was introduced in Pakistan, while others suggest Czechoslovakia. Either way, the flowing fins and spotted body pattern are the result of select breeding and the end product is another beautiful addition to the aquarium hobby. A hardy fish, prefers to be kept in schools and is a great community tank addition.
