The Lemon Oscar is a spectacular genetic variation of the original wild oscar. juveniles tend to form small social groups but they become more solitary as they age. This particular color morph has been selectively bred for the color yellow with a minimal amount of markings. These fish will grow to about 12 inches and need a quite large aquarium. As omnivores, they will consume just about anything that is presented. Flakes, pellets, any type of live food. Very intelligent , they are highly sociable with their owners.
