This delightful and eye catching denizen of Sri Lanka is a wonderful addition to any community aquarium. Peaceful, tolerant of a wide parameter of water conditions and not a picky eater, the striking coloration of the males is a genetic adaption to the heavily vegetated waters of it's natural habitat and allows them to more successfully find mating partners.
