Native to the Amazon River basin in Peru and Brazil, this peaceful schooling fish favors slower moving water flow with lots of hiding places. Hardy and easy to keep, provide this fish with flakes, smaller pellets, smaller live or frozen foods like brine shrimp or daphnia and it will reach about 2" in length with an average life span of 3 to 5 years
