The Buenos Aires Tetra is a native to the river basins of the Rio de la Plata that run through Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. A very hardy community fish, it's schooling nature makes it an exceptional addition to any community aquarium. Also, an excellent choice for the beginning hobbyist.
