Selectively bred in Thailand from the neocardina species of shrimp, this stunning powder blue variety will reach 1" in length with females a bit larger than that. A hardy variant, it is a great choice for beginners in shrimp keeping. Feeding primarily on algae and biofilm, the occasional sinking wafer is also highly beneficial. Should not be kept with other shrimp as the offspring will revert back to the original brown of native neocardina shrimp. Tankmates should be limited to other nano type fish. Otocinclus and Scarlet Badis are 2 great choices.
