Another beautiful variation of the Betta Splendens, the Black and White Butterly Betta certainly attracts attention. An antaboid, it comes equipped with a labrynth organ allowing it to breathe air as we do. Females prefer the company of other females but males must only be kept one to an aquarium. Males and females can be kept in a community aquarium however, fin nippers and aggressive species should be avoided as tank mates. Diet consists of any commercial flake food or pellets, brine shrimp, black worms and daphnia.
